The coarse 100-grit nail file is designed for hard gel and nail extension products — primarily for shaping and shortening nails by effectively filing through thicker materials such as BIAB™, ProForm™, GelPot, and other hard gels. You can also debulk gel products with this lower grit file, making it the perfect choice for nail technicians working with artificial enhancements. We don't recommend using this grit on natural nails as it is too coarse and abrasive. For shaping and prepping natural nails, use our 220/240 Half Moon Nail File.
