The GelBottle Builder in a Bottle 17 is a light pink-peach builder gel with a transparent silhouette and warm undertones.
Builder in a Bottle™, BIAB™ and Cover Nude Builders are a range of soak-off gel builders ideal for strengthening natural nails. It also improves and enhances the quality of natural nails. Just like Rubber Base, BIAB™ increases the flexibility of the nails, meaning nails are much less likely to break. BIAB™ is available in various nude colours as well as warmer, highly pigmented colours.
The unique thing about BIAB™ is that no base or primer is needed underneath because it contains a primer in its formula. (Please note! BIAB™ CLEAR, WHITE or MILKY BIAB™ do not contain this primer, and therefore a Rubberbase must be applied underneath.)
Because BIAB™ already contains a primer, you need fewer products during the treatment and can work faster. Remember, if it’s not TGB, it’s not BIAB™.
PLEASE NOTE!! This BIAB™
needs a very thin slip layer of The Gelbottle clear rubber base.
This BIAB™ contains less primer to prevent yellowing.
How to apply TGB Hard BIAB™: step-by-step
Step 1: Nail Preparation
* Disinfect your hands and those of your client.
* Push back the cuticles with a cuticle pusher and trim excess with cuticle nippers. Optional: use an e-file with a flame bit to remove dead skin.
* File the nails into the desired shape with a BY FAY 120/180 file.
* Gently buff the nails with a TGB 100/180 buffer to remove shine. This can also be done with an e-file and mandrel bit.
* Degrease and clean the nail plate with Klear Velvet Scrub or Klear Acetone.
Step 2: First Layer
* Apply a thin layer of Rubber Base or Bond Base to the prepared natural nail.
* Cure the basecoat for 99 seconds on the low heat setting of the TGB lamp.
Step 3: Second Layer
* Apply a medium-sized layer of TGB BIAB™. Distribute the layer from left to right and pull it away from the cuticle. Avoid a thick layer around the free edge.
* Build up the layer and cure one nail at a time. Turn the hand to create the apex.
* Cure the nail for 99 seconds.
Step 5: Refinement
* Remove the sticky layer with Klear Don't Be Tacky.
* Refine the nail with a BY FAY 120/180 file.
* Buff the nail into shape with a TGB 100/180 buffer. Focus on reducing product around the cuticle and the free edge.
* Remove dust with a dust brush and wipe the nail with Klear Velvet Scrub or Klear Isopropanol.
Step 6: Topcoat
* Do you want to finish the nails with TGB Gel Colour? Then follow the steps for applying TGB Gel Polish.
* Apply your chosen TGB Top Coat and cure for 60 seconds.
* Apply a small amount of StraDerm Nail & Cuticle Treatment or TGB Cuticle Essence to each cuticle. Avoid contact with the nail to prevent dullness of the topcoat.
Removing Hard BIAB™ with an e-file: step-by-step
Step 1: Preparation
* Disinfect your hands and those of your client.
Step 2: Remove Topcoat
* Remove the topcoat with an e-file and the BY FAY Cylindrical Safety Bit Medium.
Step 3: Remove Product
* Remove the entire product with the e-file and the BY FAY Cylindrical Safety Bit Medium. Work carefully and systematically from the free edge towards the cuticle, always protecting the natural nail.
Step 4: Buffing and Care
* If a thin layer of basecoat or BIAB™ remains after filing, gently buff it away with a TGB 100/180 buffer. Concentrate on the areas around the cuticles and avoid over-buffing the natural nail.
* After removing all product residue, apply a generous amount of StraDerm Nail & Cuticle Treatment or TGB Cuticle Essence.
* Built-in base coat for an efficient workflow
* File-off system for easy removal with a file
* Wear time of 4 weeks or longer
* Thicker viscosity, suitable for nail extensions
* 100% gel formula, compatible with both LED and UV lamps
* Flawless, smooth finish
* TPO-free and HEMA-free for safe use on sensitive clients
